Gary started his professional career just over 30 years ago at the tender age of 17. A multi-instrumentalist, he has performed all over the UK with many different genres of acts and bands. From releasing original material through his own record label back in the Britpop days, touring with a jazz duo, to joining and musically directing one of the UK’s first ‘Rockyoke’ bands back in 2007.
In 2011, Gary established the Live Lounge Duo concept with Danny. They have successfully performed at high profile corporate and private events and venues throughout the UK and Europe. Gary continues to perform live with Danny and Seb in their Live Lounge Duo/Trio line up and in 2024 launched the concept of celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac through the eyes of a working professional musicians. Not to pay tribute by mirroring the band note for note or visual representation but to demonstrate how the music over 50 years has inspired musicians like Gary to work in one of the most challenging industries of all.
Tonight, Gary will weave the musical direction of tonight’s show to bring a modern musician’s homage and respect to the tracks of the best of the Mac years.
Manchester born Danny began his musical journey as a DJ at just 15, before transitioning into live performances as a guitarist and vocalist. Over the years, Danny gained extensive experience playing in various bands and line-ups across different genres, performing at countless events throughout the UK.
By 2011with his dues as a touring musician securely paid, Danny co-founded Live Lounge Duo and later Live Lounge Trio. An act that quickly gained popularity and became a staple of his career. Since then, they have been consistently in demand, bringing a unique blend of acoustic charm and live energy to audiences far and wide.
With a background beyond music in the audio-visual industry, Danny brings professional experience and the technical know-how, to develop the Dreams concept for a theatre audience, and a musical experience for Fleetwood Mac addicts and music & theatre lovers to enjoy equally.
Like Gary, Danny has been hugely influenced by the music of Fleetwood Mac from a very early age, from recognising the popularity of the Mac music as a working DJ, regardless of the age of the audience or musical preferences. Such is the draw of their back catalogue and Danny is excited to be performing at the Shakespeare North Cockpit theatre.
Some people were just born to be a drummer. Seb has been playing drums since age 11 and has been teaching and gigging professionally for 20 years. Like so many established drummers, Seb is a sought-after addition to a session recording or playing with live function and covers bands, seeking to always play music that people love and can get up and dance to.
He has toured throughout Europe and the UK with blues and rock bands, taking in the fantastic music scenes in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Citing Mick Fleetwood as an early influence and recognising that Mick is widely considered a good drummer, though not necessarily a technically flashy one! Mick was known for his strong feel, innovative grooves, and ability to create a solid, rhythmic foundation for Fleetwood Mac’s music.
Seb has embraced this as a solid foundation for his own playing across multiple genres and is delighted to be playing the Fleetwood mac song book from 1975 and keeping Mick’s styles firmly front and centre for tonight’s performance.
Anyone seeing Mick Fleetwood drum live, wearing a suit made up of early electronic drum pads, will recognise that he was no stranger to technology. Seb, whilst preferring to keep his equipment firmly routed to the stage, has embraced drum technology and his performance tonight will demonstrate just how new tech can so brilliantly emulate older musical history.
A muti- instrumentalist including guitar and piano, with a pitch perfect vocal range across many musical genres, she has a passion for the great female vocalists of past decades in soul, jazz, country and popular music.
Daisy plays professionally at large private and public events and was recently named the TWIA Best Music Act 2025 for her work in the Wedding industry. But her work extends to many top-level performances including Premiership sports venues as pre-and-post-match entertainment for Champions League Football and Rugby Union. She also has experience with live online performances and has previously appeared as one of the global featured online artists for Taylor Guitars.
Those familiar with our producers’ previous shows at Shakespeare North; “An Audience with Some Other Guys”, will remember Daisy Kate opening that show on piano with Beatles classic: “In My Life” and later vocal performances of “The Marvelletes – Mr Postman and The Shirelles – Will you still love me tomorrow”. She is delighted to be returning to the theatre again and sharing her respect and love for the female contributions made in the Fleetwood Mac history.
Daisy is a huge fan of the work of Christine McVie as both a writer, singer and pianist, and similarly and obviously a shared love of Stevie Nicks, and the huge influence she brought to Fleetwood Mac from 1975. Christine and Stevie’s Fleetwood Mac renditions feature in her private and corporate work across the UK and Europe and never ceases to be amazed at the recognition and love for the bands back catalogue in all sectors of the industry.
Jim is a master of the guitar and bass. A graduate from Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Jim pursued a professional career in music. As part of a signed band “MPC” with Liverpool’s Honey Records, they toured and released their first single “CULT” and the full first album in 2004, enjoying the supporting video playing on MTV Europe. But when the lead singer returned home to South America, the band disbanded, and the second album was not to be.
Not to be deterred, Jim continues to play professionally, including regular appearances at the Cavern Club, Liverpool and tours extensively with The Gillan Edgar Band (MD – Some Other Guys), and is also an award nominated Voice Over Artist for TV, Radio and Online. He somehow also finds time to be a school music teacher for 11–18-year-olds.
Jim will be your host this evening and sharing the views and experiences that all our cast have of how tonight’s choice of musical gems has helped each develop their individual musical styles to evolve and allowed them to become professional musicians 5 decades later.
