Alfie Connor, is a ruthless criminal gang boss who hides his true self behind a veneer of violence and power.
George, a young male prostitute with dreams of escaping the streets, navigates the dangers of his world, working the notorious “Meat Rack” – the haunt of young male Prostitutes outside Piccadilly’s grand hotels.
When their paths collide, George sees an opportunity to climb out of the shadows, while Alfie sees in George a reflection of his own suppressed truths. Their tense encounter becomes a battle of wits, exposing the harsh realities of their lives and the cost of pursuing power and respect in a society rife with prejudice and repression.
The Meat Rack unflinchingly examines themes of denial, ambition, and identity, revealing the lengths people will go to in order to survive—and the secrets they must guard to do so.
