Hailing from Toxteth, Louis Emerick is a much-loved British actor, best known for his portrayal of Mick Johnson in the soap opera Brookside, and recurring roles of PC Walsh in Last Of The Summer Wine, Mike Thornberry in Coronation Street and Herman in Zapped.
Alongside his numerous screen credits, Louis has proven himself as a highly accomplished and critically acclaimed stage actor.

Louis Emerick is a much loved British TV actor, best known for his portrayal of Mick Johnson in the soap opera BROOKSIDE, recurring role of PC Walsh in LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE, Mike Thornberry in CORONATION STREET and Herman in ZAPPED.
Other television credits include; ERIC, ERNIE & ME (BBC4), MOVING ON (BBC1), PACINO AND BERT (Sky Arts), Norman the Doorman in ITV’s BENIDORM, VERA (ITV), THE OFFENDERS, NEW TRICKS, SILENT WITNESS (BBC), HOLLYOAKS (CH4).
Louis has also worked on, COLD FEET, THE BILL, MERSEYBEAT, HOLBY CITY, DOCTORS, TREXX & FLIPSIDE, Mile High and the semi-regular role of Mike Bateman in CASUALTY. He could be seen in the Jimmy McGovern series JUSTICE for BBC TV, as Peter O’Brian in WATERLOO ROAD.
On film, Louis will next be seen in the Hollywood feature film KUNG FURY 2, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Fassbender. Louis has appeared as Dave in HABIT, Bruce in LAPSE OF HONOUR, Carl in TOMORROW, Billy in FRUIT MACHINE, COLOUR BLIND, and as Trevor in LAYER CAKE alongside Daniel Craig, directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Notable theatre credits include; A Little Pinch of Chilli (Liverpool Everyman); The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui alongside Mark Rylance (Contact Theatre, Manchester); On the Ledge (Royal Court, Liverpool), Siswe Banzi is Dead (Stephen Joseph), Master Harold & the Boys and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (both at the Liverpool Everyman), Claudius in Hamlet (Horseshoe Theatre Company), Basil and Beattie (Royal Exchange) and most recently the National Tour of Soap Opera, Bouncers at The Royal Court, Liverpool, productions of Jim Cartwright’s Two (Manchester, Liverpool and St Helen’s) and as Santa/Mr Greenwood in Elf the Musical (Theatre Royal, Plymouth & The Lowry, Salford).
