We are now selling Theatre Tokens, the not-for-profit Gift Card that gives back to the industry. Theatre Tokens can be bought and redeemed here, as well as at over 280 venues nationwide and have no expiry date which makes them the easy way to give the gift of theatre.
Frequently Asked Questions
‘Pay What You Decide’ places the power in your hands. Instead of a fixed ticket price, you are invited to pay what you feel the ticket is worth. Tickets start from £3* but then the decision is yours. Take a risk and book for something you wouldn’t usually!
Do you live in Prescot? Does your postcode begin with L34 or L35? Then you can unlock additional tickets. We are proud to be a part of the Prescot community and are delighted to offer all Prescot residents exclusive access to additional Pay What You Decide tickets.
There are a limited number of ‘Pay What You Decide’ tickets on performances throughout the venue. These are sold on a first come first served basis. Pay What You Decide tickets are available to everyone. However, there is an additional allocation of Pay What You Decide tickets held for Prescot residents.

‘Pay What You Decide’ tickets are identifiable on the Cockpit Theatre seating plan as orange. For performances in the Studio or the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden they can be selected from a drop down menu. As you move through the booking process you will be able to select the price you wish to pay.
To unlock the additional allocation of tickets for Prescot Residents, you will need to create or login to your account. Once logged in, the exclusive allocation will be unlocked automatically. These are identifiable on the Cockpit Theatre seating plan as orange stars.

Adult: Our standard ticket for those over 17 years old.
Child: This ticket is for anyone who is aged 6 to 17 years old.
Concession: This ticket is for people who are students in full-time education or currently unemployed.
Access: This ticket is for those with a disability (both visible and non-visible) and essential companions/ carers.
5 and under: This is a free ticket is for those 5 years of age and under. This can only be booked on shows where it is appropriate to bring those age 5 and under.
Family: Buy four tickets to the same show (minimum 1 Adult & 1 child ) and receive a 20% discount. This is only available on Adult and Child tickets.
Please note: Everyone entering the auditorium for a performance must have a ticket.
There is no concession for those over 60

In the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden and the Studio it is unreserved seating so no seating plan is available to view when booking. Buy the number of tickets you want at each ticket price and then choose your seat on arrival at the venue.
