Put your love story centre stage. Get married at the Playhouse...
We’ll help you craft a day to remember, reflecting your personal style; be it a grand celebration or a cosy, intimate gathering.
Get married on the stage in our intimate oak-framed theatre. Choose to hold your ceremony by candlelight, making use of our spectacular candleabra to help create a special atmosphere. We’ll then prepare the candles for you to give your guests as a memento of your special day.
Dine, dance and celebrate with friends and family in our fabulous spaces throughout the Playhouse.
We’ll advise on the best use of Playhouse spaces based on the length of your guest list. From bespoke menus created by you in collaboration with our Head Chef, to personalised drinks, we’ll tailor the detail to meet your vision.

Availability is extremely limited, so please do plan ahead and, where possible, have several suitable dates in mind to ensure the best chance of us being able to host your special day.

Ceremony
This 90 minute hire includes ceremony venue hire and the services of a dedicated event manager.

Ceremony with celebration

- Use of the full venue
- Room hires for ceremony and celebration
- dressing rooms for the bridal party ahead of the ceremony
- Dedicated event planning manager
- Fully licensed bar facilities
- Bespoke drinks package options
- Cockpit Theatre candelabra*
- Banqueting furniture, linens and tableware**
From £5000
*three candelabra are included in this package, with a total of 36 candles, which couples have chosen to give guests as a memento of the day. Four additional candelabra are available. £50 (inc vat) per candelabra.
**for 30 guests is included in this package price. A per person supplement is charged for additional guests.
Additional chargeable services available:
- cake cutting and boxing
- stage floor. The default stage floor finish is black. Dependant on our production schedule, the wooden floor can be revealed.
