The play explores the tragic and sometimes violent relationship between the writer Joe Orton and his lover Kenneth Halliwell.
Set in a place between life and death, Orton and Halliwell re-enact their story for all to see. Judgements are made from the hidden voices that are present throughout and raw emotions are finally laid bare in an uncompromising story of desire and despair.
The play delves deep into the mind set of each character as it tries to understand what really led up to that fateful last act of desperation.
Joe tells his story. Kenneth tells his story. There are no villains, just victims of a destructive and all-consuming passion.
