Pay What You Decide (PWYD) places the power in your hands. Instead of a fixed ticket price, you are invited to pay what you feel the ticket is worth. Tickets start from £5* but then the decision is yours.

After three years of incredible theatre, community and creativity, we are running a special birthday fundraiser for the people that matter the most to us. Our audience!
This year, we’re aiming to raise £5,000 in two weeks to support our Pay What You Decide ticket scheme – making Shakespeare North Playhouse accessible for even more people.
Every ticket you help subsidise opens our doors a little wider to the community we serve.
Pay What You Decide tickets are available to give people who may face financial barriers, the chance to experience theatre – often for the first time.
- For £15 you could let a young person feel the thrill of live theatre
- For £40 you could bring 5 new faces through our doors to enjoy a show in our Studio
- For £120 you could bring a family of four to enjoy a night of winter wonderland festivities
