PAY WHAT YOU DECIDE
Theatre should be for everyone, and nobody should have to break the bank to experience the joy of performance.
Here at Shakespeare North, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of live performances and events, without worrying about cost.
That’s why we’re excited to offer Pay What You Decide / PWYD tickets, which let you choose the price that’s right for you! Whether you’re a regular theatre-goer or looking to try something new, we welcome you to take a chance on one of our events with ticket prices starting at £5, going up to £30.
There are a limited number of Pay What You Decide / PWYD tickets on events throughout the venue. These tickets sell on a first come first served basis and are available to everyone. If you are a Prescot resident, there is an extra allocation of PWYD tickets for you.
How do I book Pay What You Decide tickets?
Book PWYD Online
Pay What You Decide tickets are identifiable on the Cockpit Theatre seating plan as green. For performances in the Studio or the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden they can be selected from a drop down menu. As you move through the booking process you will be able to select the price you wish to pay.
Book PWYD over the phone
Call 0151 433 7156 and a member of our team will assist you.
Book PWYD in person
You can call into the venue and ask a member of staff to book your tickets in person. Just specify that you’d like to book Pay What You Decide tickets.
Do you live in Prescot?
If you live in Prescot with a postcode beginning with L34 or L35, you’re in luck! As a thank you to our wonderful local community, we’re offering extra Pay What You Decide / PWYD tickets only for you.
To access these tickets, create or log into your account on our website. You can do this by clicking on the person icon on our website home screen, then selecting ‘Register Now’, if you haven’t already. Enter your postcode to unlock these special tickets. You’ll see them marked on the seating plan in green, or select them from a drop down menu, for the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden.
