We regularly monitor official weather alerts and make adjustments to performances as needed.
Please keep an eye on our updates and plan accordingly.
Performances will not be moved indoors, except in exceptional circumstances.
We monitor Met Office weather warnings throughout the week. A decision to move a performance inside will only be considered if:
Please note that this is a rare exception and not standard practice.
Our goal is to ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable and pleasant experience, regardless of the weather.
During wet conditions, rain ponchos will be available at the venue for your convenience. To maintain clear sightlines for all guests, we kindly ask that you avoid using items such as umbrellas that might obstruct views.
On occasions with smaller audiences, staff may provide additional guidance about umbrella use and seating arrangements to help ensure everyone’s comfort and visibility.
Water is available on site at all times, please feel free to help yourself. As the garden offers limited shaded spots, we encourage you to apply sunscreen and take any other measures to stay comfortable and protected during your visit.
You are welcomed to buy snacks and drinks at the café and bar, but please do not bring your own – this includes alcohol and picnics.
Seating is unreserved so we recommend arriving as early as you can to ensure you get your favourite spot.
There are a limited number of chairs provided by us. Please do not bring your own chair(s) to the venue as you will not be able to use them.
There is no cushioning on the seating. Please bring your own cushion with you if feel you would prefer one.
There are wheelchair spaces available.
You’re welcome to buy snacks and drinks from the café and bar, please do not bring your own – this includes alcohol and picnics.
The British weather can be unpredictable at the best of times, shifting from baking sunshine to sudden rain within a matter of hours.
Come prepared – bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. As the sun sets it often gets a bit chillier so please also bring warm clothes and we recommend raincoats. You may bring an umbrella but please don’t use it if it can block anyone’s view or harm anyone.
Very bad weather, such as heavy downpours of rain, may mean we have to stop and restart the show.
We will very rarely cancel a performance before the time it is due to start as weather can change very quickly.
