Shakespeare North Playhouse is part of the HAF Programme this April Half-Term!

Tue 1 Apr, 2025

We’re thrilled to once again be part of One Knowsley’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme this April half-term! As part of this national initiative, we’ll be hosting a series of fun, creative, and enriching sessions for children and young people aged 11-16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Delivered by One Knowsley on behalf of Knowsley Council, thanks to funding from the Department for Education, the HAF programme offers an exciting mix of engaging activities alongside a free nutritious meal at every session.

At Shakespeare North Playhouse, we’re passionate about using creativity to inspire and connect young people. Morven Currie, Project Producer for Learning and Engagement, shares:

“HAF is an incredible opportunity to welcome young people into the theatre. At its heart, Shakespeare North Playhouse is a space for the community to explore and learn through creativity. This half-term, we’re excited to offer a fantastic line-up of activities led by our Learning and Engagement Team and creative practitioners, designed to spark imagination, build new skills, and support personal wellbeing.”
