Sign me up!Our Volunteers: The Heart of Shakespeare North Playhouse
At Shakespeare North Playhouse, volunteers are the lifeblood of our vibrant community. Their dedication and passion infuse every corner of our theatre, from welcoming guests with warm smiles to supporting our diverse range of events and workshops. These individuals play a pivotal role in bringing our mission to life—making world-class theatre and cultural experiences accessible to all. Their contributions extend beyond the stage, fostering connections, inspiring creativity, and enriching the lives of those in Prescot and the wider Liverpool City Region.
Volunteering isn’t just good for your own growth, it’s a way to give back to your community and support the theatre in meaningful, lasting ways.
It’s also a great way to keep learning, meet new people, and feel more connected. If you’re looking for something that adds real value to your life, Shakespeare North is a place you can call home.

These roles include, but are not limited to:

Also helping out during the shows, ensuring guests are sat in the right places and providing instructions when necessary.

These positions include helping artists and prepping materials for our workshops that include Still Life Drawings, Wine Tasting sessions and many more.

There are also positions with our Audience & Marketing department, where you could help produce copy or put your Photoshop skills to work! You could be helping behind the scenes in the marketing and planning of our digital content and overall marketing strategy.
