Sign me up!A Lovely Word Poetry Slam is back at Shakespeare North Playhouse for its second year as part of A Lovely Poetry Festival 2024!
This Slam event brings together some of the best spoken word artists from across Liverpool and the Northwest to compete for a £300 cash prize and the coveted title of Slam Champion 2024!
Come along and watch the semifinalists battle it out for the spaces in the final. The second semi final and Grand Slam final will be held on Thursday 4 July at The Everyman Liverpool and will be judged by our panel of experts including our guest judge, last year’s Slam winner Claire Beerjeraz.
Expect fun, excitement and laughter (maybe tears) but most of all a night of great poetry!
