Sign me up!A recital of exquisite Shakespearean opera and poetry by soprano Laura Hudson, pianist Jonathan Ellis and actor Trevor Fleming, as part of the 20th Annual Prescot Festival of Music and the Arts.
Prescot-born Laura has performed throughout the country in major dramatic roles such as Wagner’s Götterdämmerung (The Twilight of the Gods) and continues to perform at venues across the UK. Jonathan performs regularly as a soloist, accompanist, and operatic repetiteur.
For this 60-minute recitation the trio have prepared a delightful selection of songs based around Shakespeare’s most famous highlights. The musical items will be interspersed with snippets from The Bard’s notable texts delivered by Trevor whose acting credits include We Are Not Alone, and Coronation Street.
