Short experimental RnD play from Chelsey Emery, Chase Johston Lynch and Friends presenting their works on Black Excellence and historical figures. Sarah Abusin presenting based on true story ‘Jailbird’ a musical on incarcerated women in Dubai, Mariam Jama with, ‘My Friend Fiona,’ a 3 hander play set in the near future. It follows Cara, a data annotator who begins sessions with an AI therapist after the death of her colleague Fiona. It covers themes of grief and dystopias.
