Home-Education Seniors: Macbeth

Our home education sessions are developed with creative practice at the core!

Our home education sessions are designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and confidence.

Rooted in creative practice, these sessions go beyond traditional learning, inviting young people to explore language, storytelling, and performance in bold, hands-on ways.

Over the course of four weeks, learners will build their knowledge and understanding of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy, Macbeth. Together, we will step into the world of the play by exploring its setting, uncovering the characters’ motivations, discovering the historical context in which it was written and even trying out a few traditional rehearsal techniques, inspired by our production of Macbeth in the Cockpit.

This course is specifically designed for young people at KS3/KS4 level and primary age (11-16 years old).

  •  Thu 05 Nov: 2-3:30pm
  • Thu 12 Nov: 2-3:30pm
  • Thu 19 Nov: 2-3:30pm
  • Thu 26 Nov: 2-3:30pm

Booking Information:

Parental Participation: Parents are generally asked to leave their children with our practitioners for the duration of each class; we have comfortable spaces around the building and just outside our learning centre where you can wait should your child need parental support during the session.

If your child requires 1:1 support from a parent or guardian throughout the entire workshop, we’re happy to accommodate your presence in the room at no additional cost. f you have any questions or would like to discuss specific needs, please feel free to contact us at  [email protected]
