Itch: Spoken Word Night

Itch is our monthly spoken word night that takes place in our excellent Café Bar.

It is an inclusive, welcoming community space for both performers and audience alike.

If you are a performer and are looking for a performance opportunity get in touch. You might be new to performing, or a seasoned performer looking for space to share your work. You might have been a performer a while ago and are looking to return to the mic! Everyone is welcome and supported here at Itch.

If you are not a performer, even better. The audience is just as, if not even more important as without you what would be the point? So if you love spoken word, or you’ve no idea what is and want to find out, come and join us at Itch! Every month in the Café Bar, usually on the second Tuesday of the month. Prepare to laugh, prepare to cry but most of all prepare for an evening of community and connection.

Please contact Ali Harwood, for performance slots and more information: [email protected]

Please note: There is no longer a transaction fee for this event.

For those of you Spoken Word enthusiasts who have attended/performed, why not join our new Facebook community! This is a place for our community to share work, ask for feedback, hear about upcoming events, chat all things Spoken Word, ask questions, start a discussion and much more: Itch & Scratch Facebook Group
