It’s local re-election time and MP Mary is buzzing. In the last round everyone spoiled their vote. They felt unheard and wanted to show those in power that they weren’t to be taken for granted. She’s not going to let that happen again.

As Mary joins people gathered together in the local pub, conversations start. Jokes are thrown in. Ideals clash. There’s singing on tables. Love blossoms. And something starts to shift…

This funny and heartwarming play by Barney Norris – writer of the Sting musical The Last Ship – is about what happens when people start talking, and start listening.

Told through spoken English, British Sign Language (BSL), Sign Supported English (SSE), creative captioning and with original live music.
