Regular Events for Adults

Here are the activities that are available throughout the year for adults. Some you’ll have to keep an eye out on our What’s On page to stay updated…

• Spoken Word Nights in the form of our Itch & Scratch events:
  • Itch – for beginners wanting to share new work
  • Scratch – for those seeking to perform their own new and polished original work
• Shared Reading – discussion group to explore extracts from stories, plays and poetry, new and old
• Shared Writing – a friendly space to meet regularly and share in the process together, with no pressure to read your work aloud!
• Dungeons & Dragons – an opportunity to embark on a remarkable journey into the realms of fantasy, where epic adventures, memorable characters, and thrilling encounters await.

• Drawing
  • Life Drawing Sessions in different spaces across the venue
  • Still Life Drawing Course (12th November – 3rd December 2024)

• Guided Tours – be led through our award-winning venue, diving deep into the heritage, the rich history of Prescot and its links to Shakespeare
• Technical Tours
• Various Craft Workshops

For the Kids

Events suitable and catered to the younger ones…

• Baby Bards – Introducing story, letters and phonics through readings and fun activities, your little ones will be Bards in no time
• Young Writers Club – a club to inspire creative writing, with different fun activities to spark your scribbles in each session
• Theatre Explorers – Our fun clue-finding guided tour for families
