Shakespeare North excited to be a Graeae Beyond Partner

We are excited to meet the talented new cohort of artists joining Graeae’s Bespoke Artist Development Programme for 2024!
The Beyond Programme plays a crucial role in creating greater access to regional opportunities across England, ensuring that Deaf, Disabled, and neurodivergent artists are at the forefront of emerging work. Since 2020, it has already supported 67 Deaf, Disabled, and neurodivergent artists on their artistic journeys.
This year, Graeae has partnered with 8 leading venues across England, creating a national network of artistic support and development. Alongside us, the venues involved are:
- Octagon Theatre in Bolton
- Nottingham Playhouse
- Cast in Doncaster
- Hull Truck Theatre
- Everyman Theatre in Liverpool
- Derby Theatre
- Mercury Theatre in Colchester
We are proud to be part of Graeae’s mission to develop career opportunities for these exceptional artists, helping them to take on new challenges and forge meaningful connections within the industry.
