The Playhouse combines stunning contemporary architecture with flexible and accessible spaces. And at RIBA North West’s Building of the Year (2024), you’ll be looked after by a team dedicated to making your event run like a dream.

THE COCKPIT THEATRE: up to 325 people

Based on a 1630s design but with bang-up-to-date accessibility and technology, sound, lighting and presentation options, this elegant space seats up to 325 people for events. It’s perfect for conferences, keynote presentations, product launches, award ceremonies or full company meetings.

THE STUDIO: up to 87 people

A flexible space which can be configured in several ways to suit your needs. For example, tiered seating for a panel discussion, kept open for networking or workshop style for breakout sessions. The room has video projection and excellent acoustics making it a popular choice for many businesses.
