Imaginarium Youth Theatre takes on the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden this Summer!

ACT ONE – Prospero’s Island

Devised by Act One Youth Theatre (7-10 years)

Directed by Pheobe Edmonds and Caitlin Newman

Join us on a Shakespearean adventure on Prospero’s magical Island just before The Tempest begins. Meet Caliban, Sycorax, Ariel and Prospero and witness the moment when Caliban betrays Ariel and their relationship falls apart. The dramatic ending will leave you wanting more… if only someone would write a sequel.

ACT TWO – Ham-a-Lot (A King’s Revenge)

Devised by Act Two Youth Theatre (10-13 years)

Directed by Julie Ashurst and Ashlyn Baker

On a cold, dark night a spectre haunts the ramparts of Elsinore; ancestral home of Denmark’s feudal kings. The ghost of old King Hamlet stalks the battlements, plotting his revenge on the brother who usurped his throne. He enlists the help of his son Hamlet Junior – cue a disastrous chain of events and a comedic collapse into chaos.
